Do you do it out of ignorance?

Please allow me to educate you. This article could very well upset you but I urge you to read it in its entirety because your cat’s life hangs in the balance. The most important fact you must always remember is that our bodies are different and therefore our nutritional needs are diverse. Cats are obligate carnivores – they need meat and Mother Nature designed their bodies to efficiently digest meat.Feeding your cat, for a prolong period of processed carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables will cause food related illnesses. These illnesses include such problems as; diabetes, IBD and others. Cats are obligate carnivores. Their bodies are well suited for eating and digesting raw meat.Convenience and low price are great selling points and the commercial cat food companies know this and they use it to sell cat foods that are not beneficial to cats. These companies produce misleading ads to convince you that their foods are good for your cat but these ads are at best untrue. The cheap, non-beneficial and often toxic ingredients have caused many premature cat deaths. When you enter a supermarket or other places that sell cat food and you see bags of cat food with fruits and vegetables on them, this gives you the false impression that since fruits and vegetables are good for humans, then they must be good for your cat. But this is a wrong and dangerous belief. This is the same as taking a human that’s been a vegetarian for many years and changing his diet to a strict meat-based diet. This would wreck havoc on his digestive system. It will cause constipation coupled with deterioration in his health and a premature death.A human needs fruit and vegetables to live a healthy and quality life. If you take away his fruits and vegetables and force him to survive on meat and processed carbohydrates, soon you would witness deterioration in his health. This type of a diet would wreak havoc on his digestive system. When you feed your cat commercial dry food, this is exactly what you are doing to your cat and it will lead to costly Vet bills and even a premature death.Irrespectively of what claims the commercial cat food companies make, as a cat caregiver, you are responsible for their nutritional needs. Get the facts to ensure your cat’s nutritional needs are met.Unlike the commercial cat food companies who are part of a mostly unregulated multi-billion dollar mostly unregulated commercial pet food industry, their main objective is profits and lots of it. You actually feed your cat commercial cat foods because you believe their foods are healthy for your cat but their claims are false and dangerous for your cat.Have you ever considered what goes into a bag of dry cat food? It would probably surprise you but your cat could very well be a cannibal because dead dogs and cats have ended up in commercial cat food. For some commercial pet food companies it is common to find the four D’s ( dead, dying, diseased, disabled) animals in their pet food. The four D’s can include road-kill (dead animals found on the side of the roadways), euthanized animal from Veterinarian clinics, dying circus animals and ill farm animals that are not fit for human consumption and other animals that are riddled with cancerous tumors. You will find these ingredients listed on the bag as meat meal, animal digest, animal by-product or meat by-product. You would think that they would stop there but they also add toxic preservatives. In order to extend the life of their foods, they use such deadly preservatives as; Ethoxyquin, BHA and BHT. All these preservatives have been linked to kidney and liver failure in cats.Cat food sitting as long as a year and a half in a hot warehouse cannot be considered nutritional.Always keep in mind that your cats are carnivores – they need meat to thrive. Don’t just assume what all the commercial cat food companies say is true. Take control of your cats’ diet and this will enable them to avoid premature deaths.
